Questions

Good to know.

Is this BJJ for yeshiva students in Jerusalem?

Yes. The Yeshiva Grappling League runs Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and self-defense classes for English-speaking yeshivot across Israel, with open mats that bring bochurim from different yeshivot together.

Does it interfere with seder?

Never. Every class and open mat is scheduled around seder: night seder alternatives, Friday mornings, or bein hazmanim.

What does the yeshiva need to provide?

Just the space. A nearby park, a shiur room that's free for the hour, or a dining room after seder. I bring the mats and all the equipment.

How big are the classes?

3–6 bochurim per class, so everyone gets real attention.

Do bochurim need experience?

No. Classes are beginner-friendly, technique-first, and fully supervised. Sparring is matched by size and experience.
